Maintenance
Before use, put a teaspoon of olive oil on a cloth and wipe it all over the cutting board, oiling it for the first time. The oiled cutting board will be darker than the original. Then place it vertically and let it dry. Then repeat the operation a second time, letting it dry again. Make sure the oil has been absorbed and wash carefully.
Cleaning
For further cleaning, every month sprinkle the surface with salt and half a lemon. The salt will help eliminate any food residue on the cutting board. Lemon juice will have an effect against bad smells. After washing, rinse with hot water and wipe the cutting board with a clean cloth.
