Description

For use on cooling racks to prevent cakes, biscuits or pastries from sinking into or sticking to the cooling rack and marking the cake. The open mesh allows for a solid surface to rest your cake on whilst allowing airflow to the cake bottom, preventing it from being soggy.
Made from a woven glass fabric coated in silicone to create a non-stick mesh surface, to bring you the same quality you expect from Bake-O-Glide.

Use

  • Prevents cakes from sinking into the cooling rack and marking the cake.
  • Creates an even and smooth finish on sponge and fruit cakes.
  • No release agents are needed to stop food from sticking.
  • The open mesh allows air and moisture to circulate to prevent soggy bottoms.
  • Great for cooling racks with large gaps.

Care

  • Shake off any food into a waste bin.
  • Rinse the opposite side to the one used with hot water to remove food residue.
  • Gently wipe with a cloth or sponge to clean any remaining residue.
  • Shake to remove excess water and dry with a kitchen towel or leave in the open air.
  • A mild detergent or soap may be used if needed.
  • Avoid using dishwashers, as this may cause harm to the Cooling Rack Liner.
  • Once clean and dry, store rolled or flat.
  • Use on both sides

Caution:

  • Do not use scrapers or brushes to clean the silicone mat.
  • Never cut on the silicone mat.
  • Do not fold the silicone mat.
  • Do not grease the silicone mat. It doesn't need it.
  • Avoid using dishwashers, as they may cause harm to the silicone mat.
