Nogent*** has been established for more than eight decades and manufactures all its products in its own factory. All the production steps are quality controlled by long-term and experienced personnel, which guarantees very reliable products designed for longevity and a lifetime of use.

Steeped in the tradition of the cutlery trade, the NOGENT*** factory ensures production of high-quality utensils thanks to:

High-performance raw materials:

• AFNOR Z40C13-standard stainless steel, usually AFNOR Z50CD14-standard molybdenum stainless steel.
• Hornbeam wood, known for its solidity.
• Brass or steel rivets.
• Highly skilled employees working under the supervision of demanding workshop managers.
• High-performance machinery, specially designed and built for NOGENT***.

42 successive operations in ten different workshops are required to produce a knife worthy of the NOGENT*** name.

Stringent quality controls are applied in the main stages of manufacture, from reception of the raw material to packaging (tempering, grinding, turning, injecting, riveting, sharpening, polishing, etc.).

Thanks to our years of experience and our very high quality finished products (all blades are ground by hand), the Nogent*** brand is well known in France. Almost all French families have a peeler, paring or kitchen knife from Nogent*** in their homes.
